WASHINGTON – On May 1st, a jury in Iowa awarded $240 million to 32 workers with disabilities who were abused and financially exploited for decades by their employer, Henry’s Turkey Service. The award is the largest ever for the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, who tried the case, and is possibly the largest ever for violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
