Investigative Attorney or Advocate Position

Disability Rights Washington (formerly known as Washington Protection and Advocacy System) seeks an experienced Investigative Attorney or Advocate. An Investigative Attorney or Advocate must have three years related work experience in an appropriate field (i.e., legal, social services, medical, or law enforcement). This experience should include working directly with people with disabilities.

An Investigative Attorney or Advocate contributes to the DRW mission by helping to identify, investigate and document violations of the human and legal rights of people with disabilities and advocating to address rights violations and to protect people with disabilities from abuse and/or neglect.

DRW is a private non-profit organization, established in 1972, to protect the rights of people with disabilities throughout the state of Washington. DRW works to promote, expand and protect human and legal rights through the use of direct representation, information and referral, systems advocacy and training.
