Guam Legal Services Corporation (GLSC) is a private, non-profit corporation providing no cost civil legal services to clients who meet program eligibility requirements. GLSC currently has programs to assist individuals of low income, individuals with disabilities, and victims of domestic violence or sexual assault.

 

GLSC has an opening for the position of EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - LITIGATION Position responsibilities include provision of legal representation to eligible clients; development of litigation policies; supervision of staff attorneys; and ensuring that corporation practices are in compliance with applicable rules regarding attorney conduct.

Minimum qualifications: Applicants should be admitted to practice law in Guam or other jurisdiction of the U.S.; if authorized to practice in another U.S. state or territory, will be required to be admitted to practice in Guam within two years.  Applicants should also have at least five years of active legal experience and be able to independently manage an active caseload.  A generous benefit package is offered with this position.  Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.  The position will remain open until filled.
